"The Kiss of The Sun" Dress - Design of the week by BiBiDoan-NYC

 

My friend Scott said that I'm setting the world on fire with my designs and photos... The true is I'm addicting to making beautiful, ONE OF A KIND things :) and I'm living my life, doing the things I LOVE so much!!!....

 

Forget looking like other people!

Forget following the same trend as many people are wearing all around!

Forget the usual dresses!

Go for the ONE OF A KIND! BE UNIQUE!

For design of the week this time, I'm showing you my newest "lover" :) "The Kiss of the Sun" Dress, designed & handmade by me right here in New York City

This dress is all about unique shape, unique combination of fabrics, with the color just like the red lipstick of the Sun :)... And plus, you can wear it in multiple ways. This dress works really well on different body types. As you can see in the pictures: I'm turning the dress around and wearing it 2 ways. I'm also wearing it loose & tight with a belt. Summer you wear it over a short & Winter you can wear it over long sleeve knit top, legging, tight, or skinny jean .... How much fun is that? You can wear it all year around!!!

I mixed 2 amazing fabrics for this dress:
- Red texture interlock soft knit, 100% Cotton from Italy
- Artistic red print and texture ribbon trim sew on Chiffon, silk blend from London

Together; the mix of fabrics, textures, and the unique shape, drape of this dress, plus amazing color red; all greatness are combined and bring out AWESOMENESS.... A fantastic dress don't you think? We're passing by this workshop: Consolidate Elevator and love the mess...it's just awesome, all the tools, parts, metal, equipments, laying all around. We had to go in and asked the owner for taking pictures. Too bad we did not prepare with camera lighting but the pictures came out not bad at all, I Love them. Thanks to the nice owner Mr. Karl for being so wonderful and let us use the shop! We lov
